What is the best Time to travel the Silk Road
The better time for the Silk Road Tour is the months from March to November for the pleasant weather and beautiful landscape. But in July and August it is too busy and the cost will be much higher than normal because of summer holiday. If you are available out of July and August,it will be a better choice. In summer it can be searing hot, especially in July and August. In winter it is also cold. During May and June, the average temperature along the silk road is around 15C. The scenery is also beautiful during May and June. During that time the accumulated snow in winter on the tableland is melting,and the grass is turning green. Tourists can enjoy the charming scenery under the comfortable temperature.

The arrangements of dining along the Silk Road
Breakfast will be arranged at the hotel where you stay, it is mostly combined with Chinese and western styled buffet. The restaurants in the hotels are mostly not Muslim restaurants, but it is no problem to have some bread, milk, coffee, vegetables, fruits etc.
For the lunch and dinner, the guide will suggest you the proper local restaurant instead of touristic restaurants for local food.
If you are a vegetarian or Muslim, don’t worry about it too much. It is easy to find vegetarian and Halal food along the Silk Road, and the guide willhelp you with ordering .

Travel facts along the Silk Road
1), There are no escalators and lifts in several train stations, and no porters can be arranged to help you with the luggage. This might be a bit difficult for some people.
2), July , August and September can be the highest season for many people. Because of a few months of busy working, someof the hotels and drivers are already exhausted, so the service and attitude might not be as good as before.
c) There are only a few excellent English-Speaking guides in Kashgar. If you book the tour a little late and those excellent guides are not available, we have no better choice on guide arrangements. If possible, we will arrange the students who are studying English and whose attitude and local knowledge are still good.
